We build the systems your business runs on.

Smart automation, web & app products, and lead systems — custom software engineered to save time, recover lost revenue, and turn messy operations into one high-performing system.

The System Factory method

We use a Plan, Implement, Validate, Iterate loop to turn messy operations into owned systems that survive real work.

How we work

  1. Discover: We map how your business actually works today: the manual steps, the leaks, the bottlenecks, then agree what "good" looks like.
  2. Design: We architect the system: the flows, the data model, the interfaces. You see exactly what we will build before a line of code.
  3. Build: Senior engineering, shipped in tight increments. You watch it come together, with no black boxes and no six-month silence.
  4. Test: We pressure-test against real data and real edge cases. If it can break, we break it here, not in front of your customers.
  5. Launch: We roll it out carefully, train your team, and stand by while the first real traffic flows through the system.
  6. Improve: Systems are never "done". We watch the numbers, find the next bottleneck, and keep compounding the gains.

Example system builds

These are example system shapes, not client case studies.

The enquiry that never goes cold

For a business losing enquiries overnight, this system captures every enquiry, scores it, sends an instant acknowledgement, then follows up at sensible hours until they book or opt out.

One screen to run ops

For a team running operations from spreadsheets and inboxes, this brings jobs, scheduling, invoicing and live status into one internal dashboard the team can actually use.

Sign-up to live in minutes

For a business with slow manual onboarding, this turns booking, contract, payment and setup into one self-serve flow with human review where it matters.

The always-on front desk

For a business that misses routine questions, a trained assistant can answer from approved business information, book appointments and hand off cleanly to a person.

Cold list, warm pipeline

For a sales team with a cold list, this finds, verifies and scores prospects, then feeds the best ones into the pipeline with useful context for the first message.

Most businesses leak revenue they already paid to win.

An enquiry comes in. Nobody replies fast enough. It goes cold. Multiply that across every week and it is the single most expensive problem we see, and the easiest to fix with the right system.

Why Parrish Projects

  • Senior, not junior: You work directly with the people building the system. No hand-offs to a delivery team you never meet.
  • Systems thinking: We don’t bolt on point solutions. We design how the whole operation should flow, then build to that.
  • Honest about scope: Clear estimates, visible progress, and a straight answer when something is a bad idea. No vague retainers.
  • Built without lock-in: Your system is documented, portable, and supportable, with ownership agreed before work starts.

About Lewis Parrish

Lewis Parrish, Founder & Engineer at Parrish Projects

Lewis Parrish, Founder & Engineer. Guernsey, Channel Islands.

I am Lewis, the person you actually work with. Parrish Projects is a deliberately small systems studio, so when you hire us you get a senior engineer building your system directly, not a sales team handing you off to juniors you never meet.

I build the kind of software that quietly runs a business in the background: automation that handles the repetitive work, lead systems that stop revenue slipping through the cracks, and clean internal tools that replace the spreadsheet sprawl. The goal is always the same, give you back time and turn a messy operation into one system you can trust.

  • You work directly with the person building your system.
  • Clear estimates and a straight answer when something is a bad idea.
  • Everything is built without lock-in: documented, portable and supportable, with ownership agreed before work starts.

Frequently asked questions

What does Parrish Projects do?

We build custom software for businesses. We design and build smart automation, web and app products, integrations, lead capture and recovery systems, and operational dashboards, then connect them into one clean system your business runs on.

How much does a project cost?

Most projects fall between £1k and £40k or more, depending on scope. Smaller automations and tools sit at the lower end; full systems with integrations, dashboards and ongoing care sit higher. We give a clear estimate before any work starts.

How quickly can you get something live?

We aim to have your first system live within about 30 days of kickoff. We ship in tight increments rather than disappearing for months, so you see it come together and can use it sooner.

How does ownership and handover work?

Ownership is agreed before work starts. Your system is documented, portable, and supportable, so you are not trapped in a black box or vague ongoing contract.

What tools and technologies do you build with?

We work across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node, Python and Postgres, with OpenAI and Anthropic for AI, Stripe and Twilio for payments and messaging, and automation platforms like n8n, Zapier and Airtable. We pick what fits your operation.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

Yes. We work remotely on UK and EU hours and build systems for businesses across the United Kingdom and Europe. The whole process, from discovery to launch and ongoing support, runs smoothly without needing to be in the same room.

What is your process for a new project?

Six clear stages: Discover how your business works today, Design the system, Build it in tight increments, Test against real data, Launch carefully with your team, then Improve continuously. You see exactly what we will build before any code is written.
